Let's sleep and not wake up until world ends.
If I close my eyes, the words would fall onto paper. They would shift into place and arrange into art. They would describe a story of great love and adventure. I just need to close my eyes and dream.

Day 23: Disenchantment
Sublime and nature swims circles around my head
Like Rousseau and his rowing boat
Enlightenment was only enough to keep my eyes barely open
To the fate Oedipus was blindly charging towards
Disenchantment is the reason why Alice jumped down that rabbit hole
She couldn't take anymore of Franklin's bourgeois routine life
Where was the freedoms found?
Text and Traditions is the reason why I need disenchantment
Give me that mythical drink, that pretty little pill
Let's forget the Underground
Like Rousseau and his rowing boat
Enlightenment was only enough to keep my eyes barely open
To the fate Oedipus was blindly charging towards
Disenchantment is the reason why Alice jumped down that rabbit hole
She couldn't take anymore of Franklin's bourgeois routine life
Where was the freedoms found?

Day 13: Rainy day Studying
Note: I know, I know, I missed a another day. But I wasn't home til 12 yesterday!
Rain outside window is lulling me to sleep
Sitting next to a friend who hasn't started his assignment
Half-stirred, half-shaken milk coffee to keep me awake
Uneaten sandwich crusts sits in a plastic bag
Did you know crusts gives you curly hair?
Procrastinating with Facebook scrolling addiction,
I don't think he's getting any work done
Trying to keep our laughter down,
Whispers and heads patrol us
Christos Tsiolkas is a skilled writer,
I got turned off men on the first page.
It takes skill to make such realistic and unlikable characters.
Highlighting and scribbling on pages is almost scandalous
But that's how you really appreciate and analyse a text.
I swear we are seriously studying.

Day 2: Studying
As I'm nearing the end of the first half of the academic year, I found myself buried underneath stacks of textbooks and hermiting away in my room, writing madly about weak-willed Ancient Greek women who saw death as an escape for all their troubles and how even though Australians like to believe that we live in an egalitarian society, it is not so.
Yesterday, as a change of environment, instead of my four-walled bedroom, I cooped myself into the university library for eight hours. I was there from noon till 9 with an hour lunch break. I haven't done this in two years. It feels really good to be back to studying. I can't believe two years have passed since then. One of my colleagues asked me last week if I was happy. I smiled in reply, "I'm happy." I haven't been this happy since three years ago. Every day, I go to bed content with my life. Things are good.

Cat stuck in a tree on the last day of university....
Yesterday, I climbed a tree and was too scared to jump down. . .

Then, like a damsel in distress or a shivering cat, I had to be rescued. . .
And that's how I spent my last day of university.

First Year
Sometimes, Time flies by so fast that you're left lying flat on the ground with no air to breathe. And you wonder, where did all those days go? Playing hide-and-seek with the pixies? Or swimming with the mermaids?
Wasn't it merely a day ago that I just walked through those old ivory gates and up the path that led to university? It was only a day ago, I swear. Yet at the same time, it felt like years passed me by. Truthfully, my first day was around mid February. And now it's near the end of October. Next week is officially my last week of first year university. Time flies by when you're adapting to change and meeting new people.
To think that all these wonderful bonds were made less than a year ago. And now I can't imagine my life without them. So many peaceful days spent inside that room that's too noisy to be called the "Quiet room". And afternoons spent climbing trees with trails of ants marching on its bark. I love those breezy night walks back to the train station while avoiding giant spiders and their traps. And those trips to raid the Korean store for exotic ice cream flavours that drip colours in the sun. I love all those days.
But.
I can't wait for my long deserved holiday.
3 MONTHS BREAK!!!

Literature Blog Sundays
This semester, my new Literature lecturer made everyone start a Literature blog with Wordpress. I'm having fun with it so far because who would pass up a chance to share writing? Not me!! Everything in that blog is unfortunately supervised and locked behind the university's firewall. My lecturer of course wanted our writing to be shared with the entire Bloggosphere but the university said "Nope".
So being the resourceful person that I am, I decided to just merely post copies of my Lit blog here for my beloved Lovesick Fools. I would hate for you to miss out on my writing.
Outside my window, the world is a sleeping womb. It’s an ocean of far away eyes that will never fall into my palm. Slipping on my coat, I tiptoe pass the rooms of my slumbering family. As quietly as possible I slide open the door to our balcony. And I’m enveloped by the kiss of the Winter night.
My breath flows out of me like butterflies that flutters onto the hide away moon. I lean against the railing and watch as tears fall from the roses in the garden. Street lights peek out from the tall gum trees and guide moths to their silent doom. A shadowy silhouette taps footprints into murky puddles as I duck down hiding myself. My heart only slowed once he was no longer in my sight. In the distance, I can hear the humming of lonely drivers on the highway and wonder whether they’re going home or on a journey.
Slowly, the world was waking to a blush of vermilion. Clouds toy with the sun that’s crawling from the horizon and the moon returns to her sleep. A kookaburra laughs at the early morning as life begins once again. The sky paints clouds of peach and a background of bright blue.
Looks like it’s going to be a clear day.

First Day Back and Lots of Ramblings
First day back at university and I already kind of, well more like definitely loathe it. My 2nd semester timetable is actually worse than my 1st (Didn't think it was possible). Every Monday, my only lecture is at 6pm and it only goes for 1hour. And travelling takes 3 hours in total. Where is the balance in the ratio!!??
With my being back to studying, there will sadly be less frequent posts but I promise to write something at least once every week.
Omg... all the travelling has finally taken its toll on me. So sleepy. My eyelids are becoming heavy and yes, I realise I'm totally rambling on....
One last thing before you all escape from this poor girl's ramblings.
A lady I met at the train station today said I looked 10!!!!!!!! I thought 12 was bad *cries* And I know she didn't mean it in an insulting way (because she was smiling) but still.... I'm turning 19 this year. I know I'm becoming older with every year but still, I look like a child. Some people always want to look young but I just want to look my age. I don't think I'm asking for much.

A Lovely Thinker
University is still sadly a dog. After finishing 4 assignments I received 3 new essays to do.Fun. Good news is that I started writing a new story which will hopefully will be thought stirring. But unfortunately, its going to take a while. So if anyone is interested in guest posting, please email me. It would be rude of me to not find a form of entertainment for my beloved lovesick fools.Today I have with me, a lovely thinker by the name of Safia from Thinkers Reverie. Her words are beautiful and very thoughtful, definitely a deep thinker. Please enoy!!!

Suggest which of us is likely to suffer more
The trusting or the trusted
The one who gave her heart into another’s keeping
Or the one who misplaced what he did not deserve
A jewel more precious than either of our lives
Given all too readily
Broken all too easily
Suggest which of us is likely to suffer more
The lover or the loved
The girl with the empty space where her heart once rested
Or the boy with the seeds of guilt sewn into his spirit
An organ too fragile for either of us to handle
Given all too readily
Broken all too easily
Suggest which of us is likely to suffer more
When the time comes to take back our words
To turn the tides of emotion that seemed to overcome us
When our thoughts are laid bare for all the world to see
Who do you think will hurt the most?
I who loved you with no thought of consequence
Or you who took for granted what should never have been yours
My trust, my love, my heart
Given all too readily
Broken all too easily
Hidden once more and elusive to all but you
Such as you were

A Week Off Blogger (at least)
Every morning, as soon as I wake up I turn on my computer and click on Blogger. Sooo not a good habit right now. University is deciding to be a dog and load me with assignments in a never ending cycle. As soon as I finish one essay I get another. . .Last time I checked, I'm not an android.
Blogging and writing is a really big distraction right now. So sadly, I will be taking a break for at LEAST a week. It might become more. . . God, how will I survive without my precious blog???
So in order to entertain my beloved Lovesick Fools, I am requesting GUEST BLOGGERS !!!!!!
The theme for the posts are love, life lessons, change and and anything inspirational. It doesn't even have to be a story. If interested, my email is on the right side bar. So jealous of you guys right now. . .
ENJOY !! LOOK FORWARD TO YOUR EMAILS ^^

Busy Bee and Guest bloggers
University is really different to high school. Even their essays are different. My literacture lecturer told me that high school essays are contextually different. Great, high school you have doomed me.
Anywho, I know that I owe my lovesick fools part 2 of the story but I am up to my crown in assessments. So instead, I have opted to request guest bloggers. So anyone who is interested in guest posting please email me.
My email is shown at the bottom of the page.
With context, you're welcome to write anything as long as its related to the theme of my blog which is romance/love or life in general.
Looking forward to your posts ^^

First Week of University
I was prepared for loads of homework and media slides upon media slides of blurred words.
I was wrong.
All my first lectures and tutorials were basically in a sense a bludge. They were mainly course overviews and self-introductions. I made a few friends over the week but found it annoying that I see different ones each day because of timetable. Sometimes, I don't have time to make new friends because of the quiet scribbles in the rooms. University, I found out to me is more lonely than high school.

Chance Encounter. . .
I am still waiting for my fated one. . .
So I start university this year at ACU (Australian Catholic University) which wasn't my 1st choice but going to university at all is great.
At first I couldn't decide whether to choose climate science or Bach Arts because I am choosing between two passions: saving the environment and writing. In the end, I had to think realistically whether or not I will enjoy the course and whether I will survive for the next few years.
So after much consideration, I chose BA Arts.
I didn't really like the idea of going to ACU at first. It felt wrong. I wasn't Catholic, not even the slightest bit and don't plan on ditching my precious religion (Buddhism).
I am a romantic in every sense and I am always waiting and hoping for fated encounters or meeting my destined one. It is clear that I have indeed met someone but he long ago had his heart taken and I for 3 years have been watching in from afar.
I decided that university would be a great place for a new beginning and fated encounters
but the thought, 'I won't meet my fated one in such a place' ran through my mind while I waited for my course advisor. You see, I am not racist or anything but having been raised by traditional Vietnamese parents, they always wanted me to marry someone of my own race and that belief has been nailed into me since young.
However, soon through the corner of my eye, I saw a someone. He sat a few meters away from me. He was an asian boy. From where I sat, I could see him clearly and noticed something red around his neck. There is only one thing that is red that hangs around an asian's neck and that is a buddhist pendent.
I found out from him that we will be doing the same course but I don't know if we'll have the same units or same timetable. I am glad that I found someone to talk to amongst all these strangers so I hope I will be in the same classes as him.
But I realised that I never asked for his name. . .
