The thing about lying to yourself is that after the lie stops,
the truth seems so much more cruel.
Yet, you still desperately chant the mantra of lies,
silently hoping that the lie can become reality.
But who are you fooling?
No one.
You're merely stalling time.
It is inevitable.
Like humans dying. Its inevitable.
Like Fate.
There is only so long you can pretend.
Then aren't you better off telling the truth?
I bet you don't want to hear my words.
You're happy walking with blindfolded eyes.
Because somethings are better left unsaid.
Because people would get hurt.
But who are you protecting?
You or me?
The answer is unwanted.
Such is Life.
If I close my eyes, the words would fall onto paper. They would shift into place and arrange into art. They would describe a story of great love and adventure. I just need to close my eyes and dream.

I love that because it has so much truth to it. There is nothing more powerful than the lies we tell ourselves.
