A waking sensation tiptoes and crushes through my skin.
It leaves my fingertips tingling like a spark of magic
And I'm giddy as though drunk on air
Because I'm quickly becoming intoxicated with thoughts of you.
My body is walking through dreams of illusions.
I'm a bullet train not stopping any time soon.
I'm scared of spinning out of control
And flying off these bumpy rail tracks
Because I'm not seeing the clear road any longer.
These feelings are all too familiar.
It leaves my heart beating like the thrashing of a drum
And I'm falling under weak crumbling knees
I need calm myself down and sit
Because I wonder if I'm falling way too fast.
