I didn't have any interest in him. But when I thought he liked me, my heart kept on thudding hard. Pitter patter. Like the rain. My heart sounded like the rain. Pitter patter. It felt like the tingly warmth of rain on a sunny day. But I didn't like him. I just wanted someone to love me.
But like an elusive rainbow, his actions, his words are vague. I don't know his true feelings. Though it shouldn't matter anyway. Pitter patter. Pitter patter. Like the rain on a sunny day, these fleeting beatings of my heart will go away. And my mind will be clear once again.
