Every time, I hear the pitter patter of raindrops,
my heart pangs with longing of you.
I stare out my window with a sigh
As the raindrops washes the glass like my silent tears.
I long for fairytale meetings in the rain,
Where you will shelter a stranger like me with your umbrella.
The warm yellow heat of the burning fire place as bodies grace for warmth.
Others may cringe from the cold touch, but I welcome the rain.
Rain, it blurs my vision, washes my soul.
It hides me inside its moist enclosure;
It hides me, as I dream of you
current activity: staring out the window at the blur if rain
If I close my eyes, the words would fall onto paper. They would shift into place and arrange into art. They would describe a story of great love and adventure. I just need to close my eyes and dream.
