I finally found it

Usually if someone asks me to define Love, I would have an answer as quick as a click of a finger. But yesterday as my Behavioural science lecturer stood waiting, none came into mind. And that really dented my pride as an aspiring Romantic writer. As Love is my field of speciality, I know that there are many definitions out there. And none of them are wrong. But still, I spent all of last night thinking and literally dreaming about it.
And this morning as I woke up, I found it:

Love has no one definition; because it can come in many forms. It could be the love for your parents, siblings or friends. Or even love for other human beings. Then there is love for that one person who you'll spend the rest of your life with. That's True Love. Everyone ideally longs for it but not everyone will find it. Because, some are searching in the wrong places and some simply don't believe. What people don't know is that True Love involves patience and effort. Patience for it to bloom and effort to maintain it alive.

Well this is my own definition, what's yours?

i have it in my head that when i find my true love it'll feel like walking out into a grey sky evening when the slight hint of sunlight makes every color seem so much more vibrant than i would have otherwise noticed.

@Venora: That's absolutely beautiful. So romantic and dream like. I hope it becomes a reality for you.
