Tick tock, tick tock.
I'm watching that little Time on the corner of the computer screen. Watching the seconds of minutes go by until his name flashes online. My mouse manoeuvres from corner to corner, open window to open window. Click click click.
And I'm the husband outside the birthing room, my shoes clatter across the hallway. Left right, left right. The clock above the door ticks and tocks my eternity while my finger taps on the wristwatch for my newborn to arrive. Waiting.
I'm waiting for that beacon signalling his virtual presence.
Waiting for that amber of lover's chance.

I've been informed, that a creative piece of exactly a hundred words is called a Drabble. This was thanks to Georgina.
Read Vencora's drabble and Rabbit's drabble.
If I close my eyes, the words would fall onto paper. They would shift into place and arrange into art. They would describe a story of great love and adventure. I just need to close my eyes and dream.
